Official BYU - Air Force Game Thread

I love the switch of Ethan to the D-line

come on BYU gotta make a stop here

did the announcer just say "Bear humped?"

they're gonna run on us all day aren't they.

Finally got a glance of the stars and stripes lightning bolt on AFA's helmets. Nice touch.

WR was holding.

I think that's all Air Force has in their toolbox. If they started throwing all day the undersized O-Line would get pummeled.

We gotta make some adjustments at half time. Preferably now!

all week to prepare for the option and this is the best defense we could come up with?

It is me or is AF mixing it up better this year versus the past seasons???

we held them to 3rd down a good number of times... we just gotta stop them. Too many 3rd down conversions for AFA on that drive.

Good starting position for Heaps, lets see what he can do.

Lets just go with what works man, we were running no problem on these guys.

Well... That didn't last long!

This is going to be one heck of a crucial defensive series for us... AFA takes awhile to move the ball down the field. If we allow them to score here, we could be looking at them receiving the ball with a 21-14 lead to begin the 3rd quarter.

Perfect execution on the option defense!

Anyone noticing this about our defense?

They can stop the offense when the game is close, but when a stop would give us an opportunity to go ahead multiple TD's, they seem to play poorly. It's good that they can stop the opposing team in crucial situations, but it sure would be nice to allow our offense to get a multiple score lead.

As I was saying...

Good defensive stop there.

Thank goodness for that stop!

That scared the crap out of me, with him diving for that punt.
