I just thought you would like to know that. I have a feeling the bear is sleeping (overconfident) and we have a really big rock (way improved gameplan featuring Heaps and Nelson) to drop on its head.

Execution will win or lose this game. If the OL can protect, JJ can run and catch passes out of the backfield and hang onto the ball, the receivers run precise routes and catch and hang onto the ball, the punter can punt and make FSU work for yards and points - and allow us enough chances to stop them or for them to stop themselves - we win this game.



And if this kind of execution continues - we win the rest of our games except TCU and go 11-2 with another Bowl victory.



A very long shot indeed today - but we find out very soon.

so basically what they did to us last year? It's funny how the position of the teams have changed... hopefully they overestimate us as much as we did them.

I still give him props for being optimistic.

Well, it turns out the bear woke up as we were about to drop the boulder, and we ran away. Man, after the first half I so thought I was going to be right. And then...the mistackling, stalled drives...well, no use dredging up bad memories. I get what Bronco was saying when he said this team has the same feel as the 2005 team. I think there is more talent, so we will do a little better than .500, but we are going to be awesome next year and afterward. Good times ahead. Look for the good this season and be patient with all the young talent we have.
