Yes, it should actually read:

"President Obama and his teleprompter said..."

"disconcerning"

The word is disconcerting. Something can be "concerning" (although it's kind of a clumsy use of the word), or it can be "disconcerting", meaning "to disturb the self-possession of; perturb; ruffle."

OK, I just had to get on and point out one more item. This is regarding usage rather than spelling, but it's still annoying.

"Less" and "fewer". I keep seeing statements like "they would have less losses if...." It should be "fewer losses". I'm even seeing this from professional writers.

OK - one more: "woken up". Did everyone forget the word "awakened"?

How about: "The thing is,is..."

or: 'I miss not being there" ??????

or: " I'm feeling nausious." What, you're feeling like you're making people sick? ( should be Nausiated)

OK, I meant to get a picture of this, but the Iggy's by my office (400 West 300 South) has the following sign painted on the window:

"Utah Utes Original BCS Buster's"

"Iggy's Bleed's Red"

I find Iggy's overly possessive.

"We're going to loose to TCU." LOSE

"Could of, Would of, Should of." HAVE

"Our offense needs fixed." TO BE

The team needs to be loose so they don't lose to TCU
