Utah State: crossroads: Make or Break, Bowl or no Bowl

Utah State is going to be foaming at the mouth to beat us this year. Its their year to do it. They won't. Our team is not going to give up. We are simply better than Utah State and we always will be, even in a down year. Its time to see what these young guys are made off.



We will win our next two games. Mark it down.

Frdbtr siad IF we can't beat USU. I agree. A thread early last week was asking if Nevada was a must win. I said it wasn't but that if we did lose, USU would be a must win. I think frdbtr outlined perfectly why USU is a must win and a huge game.



Yes it is weird to be saying this - that is just where we are this year.

If you don't think that a Rocky Long led defense is going to be a nightmare for a true Freshman QB, you had better think again. If BYU isn't good enough to beat USU, they certainly will not be good enough to beat SDSU.

If we can't beat usu then were are not going to beat sdsu.



we will beat them though. if we don't, this season is over and its just going to be about getting ready for next year. winning this friday will keep the season alive. it is most definitely a make or break game in my opinion.

At USU Win (2-3)

SDSU Loss (2-4)

At TCU Loss (2-5)

Wyoming Win (3-5)

UNLV Win (4-5)

At CSU Win (5-5)

NMU Win (6-5)

I can't disagree with that, hoping that they pull out the win at home against SDSU though and get to 7-4 going into utah on a roll.

We will lose to USU and thus to SDSU. Our offense is not improving nearly as much as it needs too. USU wants a win worse than anything and we just aren't good.



This season blows.

I respectfully disagree. I think our young team comes together and makes great strides this week. We're going to have a great game on our hands Friday night. This is Jake's 2nd game, and thus his biggest growth from one week to another after his first full game last week. Hopefully he learns (like Max) to audible out of half of the garbage that Anae calls.
