Love DiLuigi, but I just wish he would break the first tackle. Dude loses the momentum battle with the first defender each time. He's awesome if nobody touches him, but he never breaks a tackle.

Well looks like stephenson is having an on game! One punt pinned on the 3, and the other one goes 56 yards. NOOOOOO OOOO!!!!!!

Too bad BYU sill can't convert on 3rd down, and can't defend anyone. Does BYU win another game this year? I'm not hopeful. Worst BYU team in my lifetime. I'm 40.

isn't the purpose of the bend but don't break defense to prevent plays like that? Wide open with a completely open field in front of him.... inexcusable.

Does the team not do the Haka before the games anymore? Where is the enthusiasm.

Funny, I've been thinking the same thing. As "shifty" as he is, he's pretty poor at making defenders miss.

No the Haka hasn't been done for some time now.

The question we all have to ask ourselves, is will this defense ever stop someone this year when it matters?

They did against UW, but I am starting to think that was more because Washington really sucks.

A 39 yard QB run and a 79 yard play action pass for a TD, the defense forgot to show up tonight.



That's worse than any of the first 4 games before tonight.

The real issue seems to be that our offense and defense are never both playing great in the same quarter... neither is completely to blame for how bad our team is, it's a mix of both... an offense that doesn't score very much, and a defense that consistently blows it. Neither is extremely awful, but they are both pretty awful, which makes for a pretty awful team.

If you completely stop on your own during the return, just go down, or at least secure the ball with both hands. You can't shift your feet for a for seconds and gain yards.
