I don't think that was a bad play call. I thought Diluigi didn't follow his blocker and wrongly tried to bounce it outside . That's 3 drives stalled on bad plays by Diluigi. The others were when he hesitated on 3rd and 3, and when he dropped a pass on second down when BYU was backed up inside the 10.

And that's how you get 2 yards, go straight up the middle.

as I said earlier, our suckiness is a combination of things. Defense, offense, and coaching are all pretty awful... none of them are extremely awful, but they are all pretty bad. Combine those three things, and you have a pretty awful team.

Utah State getting away with a number of illegal formations.

I'm not quite there but it's close to the laughing/breaking point. Is this team so bad that all we can do is laugh? I am supremely confident that threshold is coming very soon. I feel like I'm watching Rutgers vs. Duke on a Tuesday night football game.

I think you are exactly right. It's just hard to blame in it any one thing, everything sucks.

Reynolds can only block 1 maybe 2 players, but he is used too much and the other side knows it.

Especially since we have had some decent success running up the middle tonight.

So if they cant turn it around and the cougs lose what coaches need changed at the end of the season?
