This entire thread is ridiculous.

Ridiculous? You know what's ridiculous? Losing four straight games. The fourth coming to a 1-3 Utah State team that we haven't lost to since 1993. THAT'S ridiculous. Not picking a quarterback six months ago. THAT'S ridiculous. The overall speed of our team. THAT'S ridiculous. You know that we didn't just LOSE to Utah State today, right? WE GOT BLOWN OUT.

You don't have 4 straight 10 win seasons DESPITE coaching? Agree to disagree. Seeing as how this run started with Beck's senior season, and when you take into consideration the preparation and work of Max Hall with his offense OUTSIDE of Bronco's practices, I'd say it's entirely plausible.

All I have to say is that we need less firesides and mission president act, and more football coach. If that stuff is taking Bronco away from coaching, better put some support staff on it or dump it. Let Bronco coach as it is his job. The BYU Fireside is great and all, but if he team slips to 6-6 every year--who the hell cares?? I mean really. Best way for BYU Football to be a missionary tool is not Friday Night Firesides--it is to win damn football games. Winning gets attention. And if we slip, because of outside focus, that is just BS. Honestly, I do not care which guys sing and play ukelele. I do not care unless they win games. I support BYU Football to see them win, not out of some church obligation.

Time to focus on winning games. End of story.

I LOVE YOU! No really this is what I've been saying since he started doing the firesides. It at times seems as if he is more concerned with the fireside then he is with game planning and this year with who his starting QB is.

I know there will be some out there who will say the fireside are more important than the game. Well screw that! Im donating to the athletic department and buying season tickets in hopes that the team win games not put on a great fireside. If the firesides are more important then maybe he should step down and be a full time fireside guru. Like LAWBOY said as long as they win it's fine. But with a season like this one maybe he should spend less time on the firesides and more on the X's and O's of the game. Put down the ukelele's and pick up the clip board.

Bronco will be firing 2 staff before the season ends. Or he'll resign if we go 1-11.

If more losses means we get a new OC then here's to hoping the game-planning stays this pathetic all year.

I hate to agree with this, but I'm really starting to feel this way. Of course, I wish Bronco would take back over coaching the defense as well. It's been nothing but downhill since he turned it over.
