Who is THE Man Out of THE Men?

These players are all complete studs, but out of all of them, who is more of THE man?

These guys are all so strong that it's almost unfair to have to choose among them. Collie has done the most in the pros, but again, not fair to compare with others who are new to the pros, or still at college level. I chose Max because of the immediate timing of his big accomplishment (it's right now). I think Max has exceeded expectations the most in the shortest time. Five months from now, it might be very different, but for now.... This is Max's moment.

All these guys are studs but it really isn't even close as of right now. Collie is THE man, period. Top 5 in the NFL in receiving yards his 2nd year. There aren't many teams that Max could potentially start for right now, although I'd love for him to start for my Niners! My 2nd choice would actually be Jimmer. I love that guy's play and competitive nature, plus he helped us get past the first round in the NCAA tourney for the first time in a long time.

Collie hands down. Once football is over then Jimmer, hopefully, will be the talk of the bball world. But for now it's a no-brainer that Collie is playing elite football with the best qb of our day on a national stage every week.

Max Hall who was under-apreaciated at BYU - but Hates Utah. He used to be the butt of jokes about his brother-in-law making millions while he would be pumping gas. He was not respected in the draft. It was nip and tuck as to whether he would make the team at first. Now he is starting against the Super Bowl Champs this week. Not that I expect AZ to win the game or Max Hall to throw 5 TDs - he does not have the supporting cast to do it. But talk about making something out of nothing.



And - yes - it was hard to take him over Austin Collie and yes Max could be a flash in the pan whereas Collie has proven himself for over a year.

Austin Collie, that's a no brainer. If Hall goes off on the Saints, and cements himself as the permanent starter, then I reserve the right to re-cast my vote.
