Monson makes the mistake of assuming that BYU fans are like Utard fans: he thinks we care about Utard football.

This has been my issue with the PAC10 invite of Utah in that in their analysis they took Salt Lake City for the ranking the city had in TV rankings as being a representation of the people who would watch Puke games. That was a false analysis as has been born out for decades demonstrated very recently as even a 2-5 BYU team playing a 2-5 MWC team in the rain at LES can sell more seats that an undefeated Utah team at home.

The funniest thing about the whole idea of BYU fans going to the game in SLC this weekend is the fact there are still tickets available for that game. Which fans need advice?

Seriously? A game with national title implications and they haven't sold out?!!! That is too funny.

I live next to Rice-Eccles Stadium (unfortunately) and walk by it every day on the way to school. Pretty sure the game is sold out, according to the box office.

This is right on! During the whole Ute to the PAC discussion I always laughed when the talking heads would comment about bringing the SLC market to the PAC. The SLC market, which is basically the entire Wasatch Front, is OWNED by BYU. Next year we will see it. If kickoff was at the same time what game will get more of the SLC market next year? BYU vs Oregon State on ESPN or Utah vs UCLA on FSN?

Well, Monson was right. The TCU domination of Utah would have been extremely satisfying for any BYU fan to watch.

Any BYU season ticket holder who didn't attend the BYU game on Saturday so that they could go watch Utah play should have their season tickets revoked.

LOL! good one. I still took way more Joy in watching the 3-5 BYU team dominate a 1-whatever UNLV team. I hate the utes, they suck.

Can you imagine a true BYU fan giving up on their own team, donning black and going up to cheer the Utes? They certainly got what they deserved. A lesson in humility and loyalty.
