To answer your original question, I would say you were bold in that prediction but not necessarily stupid.

I agree, not a stupid bet, just one with a high probability of losing since BYU has only gotten close to 30 pts 3 times this year.

A good omen for you would be Hoffman returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Hey, if O'neil could almost do it against the Rebels, I'm sure a more talented player can.

I don't think Bic-ing your head though will ever compare to that bet Hans Olsen and whoever the Ute was on 1280 at the time made with the BYU/Ute game where the loser had to get his nipples pierced. I can't imagine the outcome of a game determining that happening to me, but Hans picked a good year.

I don't think BYU scores 30, but I still think BYU wins by 2 TDs.

It is going to be hilarious if we are up by 18, say 28-10 late in the fourth quarter, and instead of kicking the gimmee field goal, we take a couple of knees to run out the clock. :D

Just got back from the game and it is sure a great day when BYU wins big, I get to keep my hair, and Utah is down by 30!!!!

I got to thinking about this during the game. What you failed to do in your quest to back up your statement was to require your workers to put something on the line. So BYU scored over 30 points and you didn't shave your head. You have to make sure next time that if they are so confident in their beliefs that they actually lay something on the table.



What you basically did was bet someone if your team didn't win by 30 points you'd give them something and if they didn't, nothing would happen. They didn't have anything on the line but their big mouths.



You should have bet that BYU would have faired better than Utah did against TCU. I don't know that any team has been more embarassed than Utah was Saturday in a game at home. It just felt so good when you work with Puke fans to see them not only taken to the proverbial woodshed, but actually have their ol' man drag them out on Times Square and give them a butt whoopin. Priceless.
