Have your bball expectations changed?

Given the huge road win @ UNLV and the huge scoring games by Jimmer the last week or so, have your expectations changed? I think most of us we expecting/hoping for a run to the Sweet 16 this year.



I think I'll still be very satisfied with a Sweet 16 run. Although, i do think with the right match-up we could make the Elite 8 and then you just take your chances.

We are still too weak inside, when the 3 pointers aren't falling we could be in trouble (a la UCLA). My bet is that in the tourney we will run into some team with some strong big men, and Davies can't be relied on to hold it down on in the paint.

Yeah this is all fun, but the expectations are the same. Any team with above average size whose big men can score will give us more trouble than we can handle imo.

Good thing there aren't more than a handful of those kinds of teams in the country. Hopefully we don't meet one of those until deep in the tourney.

agree with all the thoughts here... if cougs run into a talented front court they may be in trouble but who are the teams with talented front courts? who of them are they likely to see in first weekend of tourney? I can't imagine too many great front courts will be seeded low enough to see first game, more than likely not in second either. It all depends on seeding and who else is in the bracket with them. I'm pumped for the team, thought before sweet 16 was a stretch but reachable, now think it highly likely and as good a chance as any team to get past it.
