I think we are getting a head of ourselves. We have some issues in our backcourt that could really make it hard for a deep tourney run.

I think you meant to say frontcourt, because I don't know what Emery/Fredette issues might make a deep tourney run difficult.

I think your right.

I think you meant to say "I think you're right". ;)

Frontcourt/backcourt. One of those terms that I always have to think about for a while.

Since 1985

The #3 seed is 88-16 against the #14 seed (85%)

The #3 seed is 53-35 against the #6&11 seeds (60%)

1985-2006

The #3 seed is 19-20 against 2,7&10 seeds

The #3 seed is 11-8 in the elite 8

(.15) > (0.85)*(0.6)*(0.48)*(0.57)

So with a 3 seed the odds are 0.15 to lose in the first round and 0.15 to make the final four. But I believe. Though struggling to put TCU away is making me nervous.

Dude, you seriously like to over-complicate things.

A #3 seed has been in the final four 11 times since 1985. That's 11 out of 100 #3 seeds, or 11%.
