One of these days, our little sisters to the north will learn that it's possible these days to not have to cook over an open campfire

March 2: An officer investigated a report of a possible kidnapping. It turned out to be freshmen playing a game. No crime was committed.

Excuse me, but just being a freshman is a crime.

March 2: Officers received a report of a van with fogged windows and seats removed from the vehicle. The caller suspected lewd acts were being committed in the van. Upon arrival, the officers discovered 10 fully-clothed individuals watching a movie.

What could the lewd acts have been in them mind of the caller, watching The Green Lantern?

There you go again, putting words in my mouth. First you assault us all with that mug of yours then you make us say things we never actually said. I don't live in Florida and I don't know the rules, but based on what I see on Burn Notice and Dexter, you got a lot of beautiful women and psychopaths. Since you are not a beautiful woman, we know where that leaves you. :bug: Your last name isn't Bundy I hope???!!!! :bug: :bug: :bug:

From the recent Police Beat:

Harassment

March 4: A female student employee reported being threatened in a phone call, concerning the dismissal of a basketball player from the varsity team. Police contacted the individual who made the threatening phone call, and he was asked to send an apology letter to the secretary.

I hope this individual wasn't a member of CC. I seriously doubt it, but this dude was a total burro sphincter. I don't think an apology would be good enough.

Police Beat: March 10-16

Suspicious Activity

And the crime wave coninues!

March 10: A student reported his vehicle stolen, but realized it was located in a different parking lot.

March 16: An iPod was reported stolen. The student said the iPod fell out of his pocket during class, but when he went back to find the item, it was gone. He later received a text informing him if he wanted to get the iPod back, he had to do certain things.

March 10: A student received text messages from an unfamiliar number. The person told the student their name. When she texted them back, they would not give her any information.

March 4: Microwaves from Helaman Halls were moved into the hall lounge, where someone destroyed them by running food in them for a considerable amount of time. When officers responded they found the ruined microwaves along with charred remains of a burrito. Police said this has already happened twice in Helaman Halls, and investigation is pending.

March 10: Police received multiple reports of a vehicle continually sounding an alarm at Helaman Halls. Responding officers discovered the driver’s seat of the vehicle pressing against a water bottle, causing pressure on the car horn. The owner of the vehicle was contacted, and the water bottle was removed.

Feb. 23: Three male students were found trespassing on the roof of the Cannon Center. Police confronted the students and they all agreed the idea to climb on the roof was not smart. All three students apologized, and no further actions were taken.

and the coup de grace

Feb. 14: Custodians in the CB reported a burning smell. It was a bag of burned popcorn.

We made a copy of a roommates car key and we use to move his car around the parking lot after he had parked it. It was driving him crazy until we confessed our sins after this little prank had continued for a couple of weeks.

In high school my buddy had a car with the key broken off in the ignition, so we just had to jimmy a window open and we could get in and move it, we had a lot of fun that year moving it to weird parking spots on (and sometimes off) campus.

From the Police Beat: March 26-30, there has been reported a rare, but exhilarating viewing of Schmoe.

March 24: The police received a report of someone sitting naked on the cougar statue outside the football stadium. The subject was gone upon police arrival.

I wasn't completely naked, I had my spurs on. But no matter how hard I kicked, that @#$% cougar wouldn't move!

Due to the following heinous crimes committed around the BYU campus, I fear for the lives of any of my children who might go to the Y in the future. Pres. Monson should start an immediate and in depth investigation on why BYU would let such crimes be committed and look the other way while the perps wreak havoc.

March 26: Police received a report of individuals crossing North Campus Drive wearing garbage bags. They were taking pictures. No crime was committed.

March 26: Officers investigated a report of laser lights being shined on people in Helaman Halls. Officers found suspects and gave them a stern warning.

March 28: A resident of Wyview Park reported a suspicious male knocking on her door. She was able to get a license plate number and discovered the vehicle belonged to the BYU paint shop. The man had a work order to do a paint job.

I pray for those who live around campus or must enter that zone of pure hatred and vileness.
