Haha, that would be sweet, and also should go a long way to dispel this notion that keeps getting said that SDSU is still the better team even if they lost to BYU. Once loss can easily be explained away, even two to a point. But three and four would certainly be hard to wave off.



I have to admit, I am a little worried about the game at their place. On the one hand, you know they want revenge for not only this year but the season sweep last year. And their crowd is going to be absolutely nasty to Jimmer and the Mormons. But on the other hand, that's when Jimmer is at his best. And a loss on their court, as long as its close won't hurt us much in terms of tourney seeding. But it could keep us from recapturing the regular season conference championship. Then again, I'm not sure I want to give UNLV another chance at the Cougars. I'd rather go out 2-0 on the year than risk losing one on their home floor again in the MWC tourney when their fans would be nasty as ever. As it stands now, we might be better off as #2 in the MWC tourney to avoid the Rebs than as a #1.

I still think we can beat SDSU in San Diego. The Aztecs are afraid of us. They slow the game down. They don't want to run with us because they know they'll go cold and we won't. The game will come down to SDSU making shots and BYU getting defensive rebounds.

This should be a topic for a new thread, but SDSU basically has 5 starters and THAT's IT!!! Against UNLV their bench played a grand total of 24 minutes. Their starters played 88 percent of the game minutes. Are they dealing with injuries?



VERY hard to keep up with a team like BYU who makes you expend a lot of energy with only 5 guys.

Sdsu played well early on, but unlv came back and should have won the game, but instead of attacking sdsu in the middle they just kept throwing up 3- pointers and none of them dropped. Not sure why the coaches didn't correct that, but the game was theirs for the taking. BYU is a better team than either of these two. If we lose to sdsu in sd, I think we come back and beat them in the tournament - I am picking us to upset them at their place, however.



Tonight I was disappointed to not get free chicken, but went home smiling because I'm a cougar fan.
