Cougars get rickrolled by defending champs and #1 ranked Michigan 16-6. Looks like the Cougs have some more learning, searching, growing to do to get back to the elite level at which they used to play.

BYU drops it's second in a row in as many days, losing to #12 Michigan State 10-7. The Cougars will cap off their roadtrip against a much improved Central Michigan squad on Monday.

BYU takes out all their frustrations from the bad weekend on Central Michigan, final 25-4. It will be interesting to see what happens in the polls this coming week.

#7 BYU beats #4 Chapman in a back and forth game at home. This game has become a good rivalry over the past six years or so, it's good to see BYU get this one, they really needed it.

Very cool, lacrosse players make the best neighbors.

Also, Cougars jump back up to #4 in latest poll:

Cougars stay at #4 in latest poll, and ran roughshod over the Westminster Griffins today for a final score of 16-3.

Cougars win first game of a back to back weekend, beating UNM 22-1. Tomorrow the Cougs play lowly Wyoming @ 7 pm, come out and support if you're free.

Cougars complete their second blow-out of the weekend, embarrassing the Wyoming Cowboys 34-1. Only two regular season games left, vs #2 CSU on the 23rd and #11 Utah on the 30th. The Utes have NEVER beaten the Cougars, but this may be the closest the two have ever been ranked when playing each other.

After taking a week off for studying and finals, the Cougars drop one spot to #5 in the latest poll:

The Cougs last two games vs. ranked opponents could greatly affect their seeding in the national tourney.

#5 Cougars knock off the #3 Rams from CSU in an awesome game, final score 8-5. Last regular season game is next Saturday the 30th @ 7 pm against the SNOT.

The #2 Cougars romped all over the SNOT in the classic rivalry game (which the Utards have never won), netting the easy win 18-5. The teams will meet in a rematch next week in Colorado in the first round of the RMLC (rocky mountain lacrosse conference) tournament.

When you say "classic," do you mean where the SNOT brings us their lunch and we eat it?

The sad thing (for the Utards, if there is such a thing) is that they're a top-15 team and deserve to go to the national tournament, but they play in the RMLC where the other teams are #2 BYU, #3 CSU, and #7 Colorado and so their in-conference record is terrible and they always lose in the first round of the conference tournament. Happens every year, a team like Texas State makes the tourney, and the Utards get left home.

And the problem is.......?

Cougars easily beat the FrUtes again, 10-5, and will play vs. #3 CSU in the conference championship tomorrow.

BYU comes up short vs. CSU in the conference championship, dropping a close game 8-5. Cougars are looking at a likely 3 or 4 seed in the national tournament next week in Denver.
