There is nothing classy about SDSU, or it's fans. Just because they are the new mountain worst's darlings, doesn't mean I need to like them.
"You stay classy San Diego." Is a line from a movie, not real life.
Was it classy to do the "We want Jimmer" chant with 3 mins left playing UNM?
Are their signs classy?
Is dressing up like Mormon Missionaries classy?
Etc etc etc.

I wasn't talking about their fans, or telling you that you need to like SDSU athletics or their fans. I usually ignore those idiots because I'm too busy watching the teams play to care what Joe "Schmoe" (sorry schmoe) in the crowd thinks about "mormans".
Let me quote you again, lest you forget your own words "If SDSU (coaches, and 85% of their fan base) was on fire, I wouldn't cross the street to pee on them."
I was just pointing out that it was dumb and certainly CLASSLESS to include COACHES in that statement as Steve Fisher has thrown some very classy comments BYU's way. I know you didn't say anything about SDSU's players, but they seem to be hard working, let your playing talk type of people. Nothing like UNLV's team who I really do despise.
But since you brought it up- on to your criticism of the fans. (I don't know SDSU fans in and out, but your argument against them here is weak sauce)
#1- Are you really offended that they chanted "we want jimmer?" If I'm Jimmer, I'm lovin me some of that. The fans don't care about the current game. They (the fans of course) know the big show is coming to town next week.
#2- You claim their signs aren't classy. Eh, whatever. It's a bunch of kids trying to come up with something cool for TV. Most of the time it's a major fail anyway. 85% of the fans aren't holding them , or even necessarily agree with them, as you would have me believe from your earlier post.
#3- Dressing up like Missionaries is not classy, but I wasn't offended. I actually thought it was kind of original/funny and that we as BYU fans made WAY too big of a deal about it.
