Well those who wanted UNM got their wish, hope it doesn't bite us in the A**!!!! At least they've already beaten us twice and MIGHT come into the game over-confident. I'll bet Jimmer is salivating at the chance to take these guys down

CSU. To say that UNM "caught us off guard" twice and even at our house? No "fluke". AS Wyoming tried to duplicate UNm"s offense they were successful in the first half. WE simply do not have the ability to pac the paint and defend the 3. UN shoots much better from 3 than CSU. Likewise, UNM covered our perimeter O much better than CSU. They are a dangerous team for BYU. And if we lose to UNM a 3rd time, I believe it would be a far more severe blow to the team psyche than a loss to CSU

OUr inside presence on offense and defense is being held together with bailing wire and duct tape. There will be no "Recovery." We will not find a "new chemistry" down low. Rose will not "step up" and/or find a miracle inside. There is simply not the personnel.

We will either live or die by the 3 and the Hand of Jimmer.

I am going to the tourney. I will be cheering loudly.

And I am hoping to sit down with TH and a Diet Coke and discuss the evolution of "science." :-)

I agree with most of this. However, I disagree that we do not match up well with them. Here's the rub for UNM: They have not shot as well from the arc for the remainder of their league games as they did against us. They hit lights out against us when they were excited merely to get a shot at us with nothing to lose regarding their season. Well, they have stakes in this game now, and I really don't believe that they can play so far out of their freakin' minds this time. Our Cougs should be able to handle the pressure of the tourney better than them. I am certain that these Lobos are not looking forward to BYU for a third time. They would rather have had TCU advance, and not have to put their season-perfect record against a superior team on the line again.

One more thing: It bodes well for us that Jimmer had a bad shooting day today. Call me superstitious, but I suspect that the trend will hold that Jimmer follows that up with a brilliant showing tomorrow. At least it can be said that our whole team got their poor shooting day behind

them today, but survived.

Here's to sweet revenge against a nasty team and their foul coach!

Oh yeah! WOO WOO!

I had already left this opinion yesterday, so I did not answer the new poll. So even though a blind pig occasionally finds a kernal of corn, I wanted to celebrate Jimmer's all-time high (52 point game), after making the call that he would have a big night this game.

Good for Jimmer, especially since Kemba scored 33 today against Syracuse.
