I expected BYU to be a 3 seed but didn't think Florida deserved a 2.



The loss of Davies was the difference. Had SDSU beaten BYU with davies, they get a 1 seed. And BYU doesn't lose to NM at home

Agreed. But, St. Johns lost one of their best/better players to injury. Im surprised to see us at a 3 sans Davies, but I actually like the matchup against St. Johns in the second round.

St John is quick and athletic. Not much of a coach though. The first team to 100 will win. Should be great for tv.

And St John's has to play Gonzaga, a very, very tough first round match up, probably the toughest for a team seeded as high as St Johns. I can see an upset there

Florida as a 2 seed is a gift....but ickkk...I don't like some of the teams in our region-UCLA, USU, ST. Johns, and MSU.

ohhhh...I forgot about the injury...I think I like our region a little bit better now...plus I guess St. Johns has to play us in Denver...unless the Zags beat them.

Just makes me think that the polls are for not and the only thing that matters is the Big East Tourney and the Big Ten Tourney to the committee.

Seems like Gonzaga has had kind of a down year, but I'm with you on this cougpeasant. Momentum is HUGE going into the tourney and I think the Zags have some good momentum. I'll be the first to say it - Gonzaga pulls off the upset and goes up against BYU in the second round.



The more I think about it, the more I like our path to the sweet 16. Too bad I won't get to see Jimmer in Anaheim - anyone want to pick up a couple tix to the West regional? :)

Hit the nail on the head. I'm contradicting a post I made earlier in another thread, but I really like our first & possibly second round matchups AND the fact that we get them in an ideal location, DENVER. Pepsi Center better be freakin packed.

So let me get this straight - do people like us now? Or is this a "one-time only" Jimmer thing...?



I was just hoping for a 2nd round good showing in a loss. Now I think things could really go a different way. Other than Mich States big guys, (And tons of fun @ UCLA) I'll take our odds against most anybody in our bracket... WOW!



Too bad we don't have Davies for this. We could easily be in the Elite 8, and a good chance at the final 4...



Can anyone find out if there is a staples "that was easy" button for repentance?



(How is Ccoll...? I know we are trying to get a med rs, but we could go DEEP with just one more big man that can keep his feet and head...)
