Here's All About Wofford This Season....

This same Wofford team nearly knocked off 4th seeded Wisconsin last season in the tourney. Don't expect them to roll over. Their seniors lost in the first round last year so I'm sure they're hungry for another shot. It's going to be a tough game.

BYU and Wisconsin aren't comparable. Wisconsin is a very slow offensive team. You can stay in every game with Wisconsin because they don't force the pace. They don't want to run or blow you out. They want to grind out every win they can.

I think Magnussen could help out also with Wofford. He could do alot of down low ground and pound--because he can and should do well against this smaller, slower (than St John's) team. It would also help save Noah's legs and strength for the next team.

Agreed. And this is a game where a 6'7" Rogers should dominate as well.

Add the fact that they will be looking across at 4 or 5 small white guys defending them; you don't think they get a little "up" when they see that? There's a very good chance they go K St. or A&M on us and hit everything they launch. Let's not disrespect their resume.

I'd rather play St. Johns than Gonzaga. We have no answer for Sacre now.

I agree with this and will be rooting for st. johns.

Sacre does not scare me. I would rather play Gonzaga. We were able to beat St Marys and they are about equal. Plus Jimmer would have an easier time against them.

This was about all I needed to see about Wofford. I would offer the cliche "I don't want to offend but"...so I will just say it. The won this game but their play just looks...slow? calculated? Their passing looks like they were drawn out on paper and that is the only pass they are allowed to make. It looks like a 4A High School team. I am not impressed with their "big" that they plan on feeding the ball to down low. He looks clumsy and slow. Maybe I am just in a bad mood today and can't say anything nice but they just do not look like a good team.



EDIT-I guess it does not help that their competition in this video is sloppy and horrible too because it just makes Wofford look that much worse.

I went back and looked; they were tied with Wisconsin with under two minutes left...





and the score knotted at a robust 49-49.



Somehow I don't see us getting into the same situation.
