Good call by Anderson, though. Now he doesn't have to endure the constant groans from fans. Kid played his heart out. He'll be missed.

I actually had a soft spot for Anderson. He wasn't the most talented player (sort of like most of us) but he played hard.

Besides what is not to love about a big who comes in blocks a few shots and hacks the crap out of anyone daring to come into the paint. If he was playing 40 minutes he would have averaged 3.1 blocks per game (not bad) and 9.5 fouls per game (not possible).

Same. Had a soft spot for him too. You could tell he was always trying his hardest and wanted to do good things for the team. There were a few games this season that he contributed to big time.

Seriously? Nothing against the kid personally, but he was terrible. He had NO hands and NO toughness. I'd rather watch an undersized big like Magnuson bang it out as opposed to someone like Anderson. I'm so tired of all these weak, skinny big men with no skills. I'm praying the two new bigs aren't the same, but I'm afraid they are just a couple more Andersons.

At 6'10" and 240 lbs Anderson is hardly a skinny big guy. He was the biggest guy on the team.

Did I ever say Anderson was a prolific scorer or defender? No, I said I had a soft spot for him and appreciated the effort he put in. And whether you like it or not, he saved us a few games this season. Having someone like Anderson in the paint is a game changer, even if all he does is stand there. Opponents have to change their shots when in the paint, it's a bigger body for opponents to try and push out, and it's a lot harder to move around someone his size when getting screened.

I appreciate the effort Anderson gave to the team and like him more than the spoiled, under-achieving Trent Plaisted.

Games where Anderson was a game-changer:

vs Arizona

vs SDSU

vs Gonzaga

Those were three huge games. I'm grateful for the effort he gave this year. He was a big part of the team and a big reason we won those three games.

Thanks for being a game-changer in 4 double digit wins. Even though you didn't change anything about the outcome of the games.

Gamechanger?

Not in the slightest sense of the word. I'm really not sure what he did to change any game for the better.

If you want to say that he "Game-maintained" for a few games this year, I'll give you that. But a gamechanger? Lets be real... (but how could you say that, because I'm pretty sure I just made that up! ;) )

I'm glad he wore the blue, and I wish him the best.
