The staff is absolutely crushing the trail right now and it is showing up everywhere. When you look at how guys like Bear Bachmeier and LJ Martin are tearing it up on the field, every top recruit in the country is taking notice. We are pulling in serious athleticism on both sides of the ball and the future in the Big 12 is so bright. Coach Sitake and the crew are working overtime in the living rooms.
Winning on the field makes the sales pitch a whole lot easier for Kalani and the staff. When high school kids watch Bear running the offense and LJ wearing down Big 12 defenses every Saturday, they want to be part of it.
Good players attract good players. We are finally building the kind of depth up front that keeps us competitive through a full November schedule. Patience is key here, but you can definitely see the program elevation.
