Been thinking a lot about that Notre Dame game and seeing Gifford Nielsen talk about his old premonition coming true on the field. Reminds me so much of the faith and brotherhood that makes this program truly special. We've got a fantastic group of young men representing the Y right now, and Kalani has them playing with real heart every single Saturday. Class of '86 grads know how rare this kind of culture is in college football today. Just proud to bleed royal blue.
Hearing Gifford's story has me thinking about old times

Having watched from Section 32 for thirty years now, I can tell you that kind of brotherhood never really changes around here. You see it in guys like Cade Uluave flying around making tackles just when the defense needs a spark. We still stall out too often in the red zone, and that's always frustrating to witness live, but the heart on this team reminds me so much of the older eras. Patience is key with this group.
