Just catching some Sunday highlights and it always puts a smile on my face seeing former Cougar players out there making plays on Sundays. Takes me back to the old days watching us build that winning culture under LaVell. You can just tell which guys played in Provo because of how hard they block and tackle. They play the game the right way and bring that BYU character to the locker room. Always proud to bleed royal blue.
Love seeing guys transition to the league, but my mind is totally locked on how Kevin Young is changing the pipeline from the Marriott Center straight to NBA scouts.
When you watch how modern floor spacing and five-out sets translate to the next level, you realize why NBA front offices are paying attention to what we are building in Provo. The pro style concepts KY runs mean our guys won't need a massive learning curve once they get drafted.
