Been going to games at the MC since my student days back in the mid-eighties, and I really love the vibe Coach Young is building with this roster. The ball movement on offense is just fun to watch, and these young men are playing with so much heart on every single possession. Reminds me of some of those special teams from decades past where everyone just buys into the team concept. Bleed royal blue, and let's keep this momentum rolling through conference play.
Man, I wish I could catch more games in person at the MC these days. Down here in the Valley, we usually just catch them at our local alumni watch parties or on the broadcast. KY has completely changed the pace of this offense though, and even through the TV screen you can just feel that buzz. Reminds me of the old days back in the 80s when the place was always electric. Are any of you locals heading to the next big home matchup?
Spot on. The spacing we are getting right now out of the five-out sets is just pure NBA execution. When KY gets those paint touches and kicks it to the corner for an open three, the defense is totally helpless. Reminds me of watching the Suns run things before he came up to Provo. Robert Wright III is seeing the floor so well in the pick-and-roll.
Going to be tough when we have to roll into Phog Allen later this year, but this offense travels.
