Saw the quotes from Kenny Dillingham talking about how tough it is to play in Provo. You already know our guys are gonna bring the noise this weekend! We just need to clean up those open field tackling issues we saw last game and our defense will completely lock things down. The Big 12 gauntlet is no joke, but this squad is built for the spotlight. Let us keep stacking these wins and show everyone what Cougar Nation is all about!
Dillingham is right about LES when the weather turns cold and the crowd gets behind every single third down. We just gotta start faster than we did last week. If the offense can avoid those stalled drives early on, we'll be in great shape. Tailgate lot 3 is gonna be packed by seven Saturday morning.
Totally agree on needing a faster start, especially against a Dillingham coached team that loves to script those high tempo openers. When you watch the Sun Devils on tape, they really like using 11 personnel to stress the boundary and spread your front seven out. If our linebackers can read their keys quickly and stay disciplined in their gap control, we should be able to slow down their inside zone game. LES is gonna give us that usual home field edge on third downs.
