GuestOnce again this game proved that Noah Hartsock is our best player this year. He should be touching the ball EVERY offensive set.

Interesting that Rose went to Winder over Zylstra against the press down the stretch. Winder made a couple of mistakes. He played good D and made two big free throws, so I think it was a net win.
Cusick was exposed again as not having enough quickness to bring the ball up against a quick guard.

Looked like a lot of empty bench seats in what looked to be a High School gym. Not sure how Jabari or anyone top level could get excited about playing in these venues! I think this conference marginalizes BYU's future in basketball much more than independence does in football! Just my opinion!

This team plays better with Cusick in the game unless Carlno is hitting shots. Carlino is still turning the ball over and plain chucking it from deep 3, out of rhythm.
NOah Hartsock gets the ball more--AS HE SHOULD-- when Cusick is playing distributor and an inside out game. Carlino has a way to go to learn this style. And thats why he sat.
Cusick deserves credit for pulling BYU out of their stall offense. Cusick and NOah inside out game was great. true, Cusick does not do well with fast guards.
Glad the COugs pulled it out, but the Zags poster is right. This Conf has strong guard play.

Looks like some SDSU fans are at the game.

I'll take Carlino's 7 assists/1 turnover to Cusick's 0 assists/2 turnovers every night of the week.
Carlino needs to improve his shot selection, but Cusick isn't on the same level of talent.
In the 2nd half Carlino took the instructions to hard and got the ball to Hartsock.

I'm not sure where are these complaints about turnovers from Carlino are coming from. He had his cleanest game of the year. I saw, maybe, one. I also saw him dish 7 0r 8 assists, and if Abuou could hit a wide open shot, it would have been more like 12.
I also saw him pushing the ball up the court and creating offense, when nobody else could.
We might even lose that game if Carlino doesn't come in to break the press.
They aren't even in the same league. Carlino has his worst shooting night of the year, and Cusick has his best shooting night of the year, and Carlino STILL has the better overall game.
