Congrats SMC

I like the first round byes for the top 2 seeds and I like having a day of rest before the final.



I think BYU could have beaten UNLV once or twice in the finals if they had a day of rest instead of playing three games in three days (what is this the NBA?!)

BYU has a tough row to hoe coming up having to travel across the country and then entertaining the Gaels at home two days later. It's kind of important that none of the big three, so to speak, blink at home with SMC already having the edge. The Gaels traditionally stumble on the road so here's to their big trip and fall in Provo. Some Zag fans want the Gaels to knock you off but having you in Spokane with a conference title on the line works for me.



At this point I have no idea which Zag team will show up in Provo. Heck I don't know which Zag team will host USF on Thursday. What I do know is the brethren will have a say they always do.

I'll call my shot now. BYU beats SMC at home by 20.



With SMC playing on the 26th, I'm not as worried with BYU playing in Virginia on the 25th. Neither team should be all that rested.

I also like the fact I got it wrong and BYU plays SMC (1/28) after Virginia Tech (1/25) and then gets four days rest for GU (2/2). If we pull of a sweep of those three games, we'll improve our current bubble position greatly - assuming we don't drop any before then.



Didn't realize SMC will be coming off 2 days rest. Little rest, at altitude and in front of 23,000 fans bodes well for the Cougs.

The Gaels should be tested heavily at LMU on the 26th so when they play BYU on the 28th in Provo they should be softened up for you. The Cougars just might be looking to give them their second loss in a row on the road. One can only hope.

What you read was old news posted by Schmoe as I took Mars to task for accusing me of pissing on a rug. However I deleted that post as Mars gets off on confrontation and life is to short. I also deleted my response to Schmoe and left :crazy: as a reponse to both.



I have been treated cordially here by most and have responded in like. Can't play nicer than that.

I agree. I don't think showing stats is in any way hitting someone where it hurts, but is actually the best effective tool in discussion. Sure beats those straw men...
