The key positive is how we executed offensively down the stretch.

That game summed up Noah Hartsock and his importance to this team. Dare I say we're a .500 team without him.

He is still not touching the ball enough on offense

Check out the box score

I think that is extremely generous.

Without Noah Hartsock BYU's win/loss record would likely be flipped, maybe a .10 - .25 team.

Craigo called Hartsock two years ago and predicted this. Craig - why have you not been tooting your horn and reminding us. I bring this up, because others could not see that potential in Noah back then. So don't write off these young bucks on this time. They are young. Noah was young. Now Noah is money and exceeding expectations of most people. It is called heart and experience and effort.

anyone remember the days of Jonathon Tavernari playing the 4?......... ;)

I actually knew about Noah long before that. Remember, I spent many a cold night in Kansas City watching BYU ball games with his brother Jeremiah as my wing man. I was at the Tulsa game his freshman year when about 200 of his family members showed up (many of them taller than Noah, including his all american sister in law and her nearly 7 foot brother) I had seen a video of an AAU game where Noah absolutely schooled both of the Lopez brothers to a tune of 28. If Noah were 3 inches taller, he'd be a lottery pick and hailed as the next Dirk. I met Jeremiah during his time at UMKC while I was serving as an unofficial recruiter for them and I've spent more hours at AAU tournaments than I'm proud of. (and if you ask the leading scorer in the history of UMKC, Michael Watson, who convinced Bob Sunvold to make him his highest recruiting priority, he'll tell you it was me... so I'm not surprised by Noah right now; I expected it)

So there you go Bib, consider the horn tooted.

My greatest regret about Noah was that he wasn't redshirted when he got home. Imagine next years squad if Noah had another year left to improve. (or don't imagine, it'll just make you sad)

Yes - sometimes it pays dividends to bring them along slowly. Worse is imagining next year without Noah. Luckily Austin shows some promise - but he won't fill those shoes by next year.
