You are welcome and free to say just about whatever you want. You know how I know you didn't watch BYU basketball? Your usage of "just about every", your Cusick > Carlino, etc etc. I don't think there is a rational being alive that watched BYU this season that thinks that Cusick is a better overall player than Carlino - or that "Carlino Sucks."



So, yeah you watch a couple games and then come on here and bag on one of our own as if you know. Carlino was regularly our third best player every night, and some nights our second or best player (No way we come back against Baylor without him, win USF, and countless others too). If you watched the overall season, you would have known that. You didn't, so you don't.



You have two legs to stand on here. The first is that you watched a lot of games, enough games to see just how lucky we are to have a player of his talent, contributing even as a freshman. But despite that you are over-reactionary and/or unintelligent.



The second is that you watched only a few games (like the tourney ones, which Carlino struggled, a lot) and came on here misinformed.



I'm going to stop posting on this thread, because it shouldn't have ever been started. You could put "____________ sucked" on the thread, and fill in the name with any BYU player during the WCC tourney and the NCAA tourney. Abuou, Davies, Zylstra, even Noah. They all had really bad games. You can pm me if you want to continue the discussion further.

No, I watched almost every single game this season, save a few. Your point saying we couldn't have had a chance to win against Baylor without Carlino? maybe, maybe not. I know some people will disagree with you there though, thinking we would've been better served with Cusick taking the starting role at pg for good. And every other game past then would've been completely different (for better or worse) if the Baylor game hadn't gone the way it did. I don't know.



I'm going to say it again, I was blowing off steam on how bad Carlino played in the tournament SPECIFICALLY because of how much better he could've been based upon the glimmers he had shown before (hence why I said Cusick was better than Carlino because, and I don't see how anyone could argue this, Cusick was the better player IN THE TOURNAMENT). I'm sorry that some people continually miss that, but I've pointed that out before and I don't want other people to misunderstand me because you come here and assume that I must either be an idiot or someone who doesn't watch any games yet still thinks he knows more than you.



As far as this thread goes, it should probably just die, because, yet again, it was a thread made about his play in the tournament and that's over and done with now and there's other places people can discuss who should be starting and what improvements the team needs next season.
