Hey Googles and Goigles. Y 4 Ever mentioned he thot Warrior was perhaps his favorite movie. Since we all seem to have a similar interest in violence (good clean intense violent football) perhaps we may be interested in hearing what similar thinkers like the most in movies. Let's don't go overboard.

Put a rating in front for your opinion 1 to 10 with 10 the best. (Of course no one will put the lower rated movies on this list of favs, rite?)

Mine are

10 ShawShank Redemption rated R. Seen it on TV. don't think I've ever seen the R version. I try not to watch R rated shows, so some I miss till I can see em on TV.

10 Speed Loved the action. edited version again

10 Hunt for Red October

9 Bourne series

Might add more when I think of em.

I forgot about "Willow." That is one totally awesome movie.

High Aldwin: [throws an apple into the air which turns into a bird] Go in the direction the bird is flying!

Burgelcutt: He's going back to village!

High Aldwin: Ignore the bird. Follow the river.

Note: The High Aldwin was Billy Buddy and he was Mormon.

Willow: See this acorn? I'll throw it at you and turn you to stone!

Madmartigan: Ooh, I'm really scared. No! Don't! There's a- a peck here with an acorn pointed at me!

Willow: Don't call me a peck!

Madmartigan: Oh, I'm sorry! Peck! Peck! Peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck!

Madmartigan: Did I really... Did I really say those things, last night, in your tent?

Sorsha: You said you loved me.

Madmartigan: I don't remember that.

Sorsha: You lied to me.

Madmartigan: No, I... I just wasn't myself last night.

Sorsha: I suppose my power enchanted you and you were helpless against it.

Madmartigan: Sort of.

Sorsha: Then what?

Madmartigan: It... went away.

Sorsha: Went away? "I dwell in darkness without you" and it *went away*?

Llug: Wanna breed?

Madmartigan: [disguised as Hilda] Tempting... but no.

Burgelcutt: [Vohnkar has volunteered to accompany Willow on his quest] No - not Vohnkar! He's the best warrior in the village, we need him here. Vohnkar - step back!

High Aldwin: All this expedition needs is a leader. And according to the bones, that leader is... you, Burgelkutt.

Burgelcutt: VOHNKAR!

Given that list, I'm surprised that neither "Snatch" nor "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang" are included.

Actually wasn't a big fan of Kiss, Kiss, and I liked Lock, Stock more than Snatch (still a fantastic film, though), which is why it made the list and Snatch didn't. (you'll notice that Layer Cake, Rockn'Rolla, and Lucky Number SLevin, though good, didn't make the cut either).

I'll have to think about some others but I wanted to put forth Shane with Allan Ladd. It was made in the 50s. It is the best western I've ever seen and had a Christlike message. It is also the best of scenery with the magnificent Tetons in the background.

Too hard to do a list of my favorites, BUT I decided when I got a Blu-ray player that I would only buy movies that were among my all-time favorites. Having said that, my Blu-ray collecton currently includes:

Reservoir Dogs

Pulp Fiction

Jackie Brown

No Country For Old Men

V For Vendetta

Sleepy Hollow

Stargate

Spinal Tap

The Big Lebowski

This is hilarious. A Big Lebowski viewer on CC? (I watched it before I joined the church, so that's my excuse...) Seriously one of the funniest movies ever, and I have so many lines in my head still. "Is this your homework Tommy?" "I can get you a toe by 2 o'clock." "These men are nihilists, don't worry." "Well, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man..." What's your favorite line? (If it's okay to quote...)

Still wanting to put up my ten, and probably putting way too much thought into it.

Let'r rip. No right or wrong answers - unless you pick Natural Born Killers - one of the worst movies ever made.

So many great quotes. Some of which can not be repeated on here. BUT on my Facebook profile one of my quotes is "Yeah, well, the Dude Abides."

"Nihilists! I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos."

"She's not my special lady, she's my lady friend. I'm just helping her conceive, man!"

"Nobody calls me Lebowski. You got the wrong guy. I'm the Dude, man."

"I too dabbled in pacifism once. Not in 'Nam of course."

I could go on and on.

Metal Bubba, I have totally dropped the line "This is not 'Nam, there are rules" within business settings.
