Big congrats to everyone. 8)
I don't what Zylstra is eating, but all the BYU fans who have said repeatedly that he isn't a D1 player should be eating a big plate of crow.

Yeah, sure, if they can afford the $50/ticket. Hopefully since they have shelled out any cash since the season began, that they can, but it's more of a decision than when the two NIT games were in the MC and tickets were only $10. A family behind me had six of their children with them. Quite a difference paying $80 for that family than $400.

$50 is a great investment to be able to give your kid, or your wife or yourself the experience of watching BYU Basketball, live from New York, in historic MSG, in April, against a great opponent in an end of season tournament semifinal game. Plus you get to watch the second semifinal game for free. In NYC you could save $50 by skipping lunch the day of the game ;)

Baylor has our kryptonite. A fast and strong PG that can hit the outside shot and big men that can rebound and block shots.
At least we're not at their place, but this will take the best effort we've seen all season to beat them. Possible, but unlikely. I just don't see Davies and Carlino having success this game and Zylstra has disapeared again long athletic teams his entire career.

Sorry if this is redundant, but: I think we can take 'em. Agreed that this is not the same BYU team that Baylor faced in December. It won't be the Bears' home court, and it won't be their Big 12 officials. Compared to the WCC, I have been impressed with the improvement in officiating balance in our games so far in the NIT. I remember seeing a tight game against Baylor go south on us following a spate of one-sided calls. The Bears won't have that advantage at MSG. Anyway, I suppose it all hinges on the perimeter shooting of our guards. My prediction is based on the assumption that Carlino and Zylstra will continue to perform. Our guys will not be intimidated by Baylor. If our guards are both hitting, then our bigs will have space, and we win by at least ten. If only one of them is hitting, then we could still win, but with more suspense.
