George Zimmerman found not guilty

And why is he even commenting on the case? Isn't there an on-going investigation into George Zimmerman?



Hasn't he said that it'd be inappropriate for him to comment on on-going investigations (like Benghazi, IRS, Fast & Furious, etc.)?

Honestly, I had no problem with Obama's comments today. I might have preferred it come with an announcement that the DOJ will not be pursuing Zimmerman given the FBI's previous investigation.



I thought it was a much better attempt to address the continuing race problem in our country than his previous attempts ("We don't know all the facts yet, but I would say the police acted stupidly" in re: his black professor friend being arrested in Boston; "Trayvon could have been my son" before the world realized Trayvon was a delinquent and Zimmerman was not white and it wasn't a cut-and-dried gunning down as initially reported).



The race issue in this country is real and needs to be addressed. I just don't think this shooting merits driving the conversation other than exposing race-baiters and "poverty pimps."

Hmmm...this guy wasn't "bullied into a plea deal," or anything. In fact, no one in the country even heard of this case; strange.
