I disagree, I like the move and think it provides more of an impact on the game.

Isn't Utah State's student section behind the hoop as well?? They are pretty distracting...... I think the big question to ask is can we win this game without Tyler Haws? If Haws doesn't play thank goodness we are at home because we will be lacking that stabilizing force. If Haws is even questionable I say rest him as we'll need vs Texas and Wichita State coming up assuming we win out. If we have to play ISU without Tyler it will tell us a lot about where this team is currently

Wrubell interviewed Haws and he said he was good to go tomorrow and practiced the full time today.........that's some good news

I disagree. We will have a hard time winning without haws, but I still think it's going to be a close game if haws doesn't play.

I think the team and Haws both have a lot to play for tomorrow. Last year the ISU game was by far the worst performance of the year. Haws looked lost and kept turning the ball over, while the whole team looked completely over matched. I think they'll come out motivated. Ijust hope they can make their free throws.

Checking the ISU v Mich box score, surprisingly ISU only called for 12 fouls all game. Thinks it's possible that low number continues against BYU? I think the game will be a little different for the cyclones. I don't see them staying out of foul trouble in the marriott center. Which will put additional pressure on them.

If Beauso79 is right, we will never get to find out. But, I questioned your optimism on the Texas Football game, and you called that one. I am worried about ISU even with Haws. Not sure why - Michigan looked like a much better team but found a way to lose.

When I saw how physical ISU and UM were inside and down under, I really struggled to see us competing inside - unless free throws start dropping.



If BYU is hitting outside shots and free throws when we get hammered driving the lane, I like our chances, because that will loosen things up a bit inside.

Well luckily we crash the boards and rebound well to give us more scoring opps. I'm almost more worried about our perimeter defense than anything. We are still leaving open shooters and ISU has guys that can hit them. We need NIT Nate to show up again and he and Mika must stay out of foul trouble. I think KC and Ejim match up well

I was impressed with BYU crashing the boards this year until I watched ISU vs Michigan. They seemed much more physical. Big bodies knocking each other around.

Only hope we have of winning is that this game is at the Marriot Center.



Highest point in Iowa is just 1600 feet. So we have that going for us.

Keep pounding it in to Mika until ISU shows they can stop it. I like Carlino getting that assist better than missing two poorly selected shots.
