Iowa State lacks depth. Keep drawing fouls and running them tired. ISU has gine cold inside and outside. I hope that continues. They get a lot of 2nd chance shots.

I really disappointed in the game. I have to get up early and so I have to go to bed soon. Why can't they play two hours earlier. I loved that alley oop to Mika.

WTF guard Ejim! Why are we doubling off of him? THis guy hasn't missed all night. C'mon boys we're blowing this.

I don't get why BYU is historically so poor at closing out halves vs good teams. This is a recurring pattern. And more missed FT's for us. There goes the lead. Wow.

All 4 ranked teams struggled early tonight. Three roared back and won. Let's hope ISU does not.

Didn't care for that lineup from about the 3:30 mark to 1:00 mark where Collinsworth felt he had to carry the offense. He needs to be about option #4 on offense tonight and an all around junkyard dog with regard to every other aspect of the game. All in all a very good half. GO COUGARS!

When I saw how physical ISU and UM were inside and down under, I really struggled to see us competing inside - unless free throws start dropping.



If BYU is hitting outside shots and free throws when we get hammered driving the lane, I like our chances, because that will loosen things up a bit inside.

We're dominating the physical battle and outrebounding them (and should in the 2nd half with a tired ISU with heir rebounders in foul trouble)...



We have not made our free throws



and ISU is only in this game because we're giving them open 3s and they're making them. Close out those 3s and we're up 15.



Glad that Mika and Austin are foul free because Worthington is not built to defend these quick forwards.



Give me more Halford, more Haws and keep winning the rebounding battle and we win. I think ISU will be too tired to keep making these 3s. Shame that we lost the lead... but guys not only do we have the lead, we have a pretty serious advantage in the foul situation. Our starters don't look afraid and Carlino has made some amazing passes.

It's a very common cut in Russia. Obviously KC enjoyed his mission. I served in Bulgaria, which is basically just Russia East. I however never embraced the food or the hair cuts! (KICELO MLAKO is not my fav ... google it if you don't know what I'm talking about).



I'm sure they're much more modern than 1992 though... I would hope.

Hopefully Rose is talking to the team about shot selection. You can pretty much predict the misses based on who is shooting from where. There are not a ton being taken. But we are playing a good team. Every shot counts. Carlino about 3. Austin 2. Collinsworth at least one.



On the other hand there have been some nice assists. Need to remember Mika deep inside when it is there. Work at getting it in there. Draw some fouls.
