Dang. We had our chances. Team is young and maybe grows a little tonight. Hope Mika is ok

Tired of hearing this. We had our shot (again) and choked at home no less (again). On the road I can accept this loss but not when pretty much everything was in our favor all game, but we refused to take it (Free throws).

Haws needs to pass that ball when he's triple teamed. Awful sequence at the end.

This one hurts... no one will remember we should have won, by March it'll be an L for us and a W for them...

We didnt' close out the 1st half

We didn't box out in the 2nd half

We missed too many opportunities with missed free throws including front ends of 1 and 1s

If Mika is hurt... it's even worse... this was was ours... man

We simply don't have a player who we can give the ball in crunch time and get 2 or a foul or both. You don't win these kinds of games without that guy. Last time we had a guy like that was Jimmer. BYU has a bunch of guys who are good, no one is great.

Yes, we do. His name is Tyler Haws and he had a bad game. How soon do we forget.... (5th leading scorer in the country last year)

This was a team loss though. Everyone contributed to the loss... even the coaches.

I'd love to have the last 3 minutes back... ouch

What kind of impression did BYU leave with Nationwide audience. I believe they saw an NCAA bound team - but one that still hasn't achieved their potential.

Healthy Haws would have scored more - still playing injured. Mika loss was even worse as he controlled the paint.

I also saw an Iowa State team that has some flaws too. Let's hope ISU rolls in the Big 12.. but hard to root for those guys.

I'd press ISU. They about folded at the end and we are not a good press team

This game is exactly why Haws isn't a big-time talent. He is an incredibly skilled, hard-working player but he just doesn't the tools against great athletes. Haws might need a two dribble limit. When he works off the ball or just takes a couple of dribbles he can make some positive plays happen. Otherwise he just needs to move the ball.

I wish the last shot had been Carlino or KC. They have the ability to actually create a shot.

Well we had our chances. Winder makes some free throws or Haws passes a few more times.

Carlino missed some wide open looks. So did Winder.

I think we looked talented. We needed Kaufisi. We need one more big guy who a good athlete. (Austin is a fairly mobile big guy who is too weak.)

Argh this game drove me crazy.

Rose did call for a TO shocking the refs missed that...Missed free throws are killers need to hit them..BYU team is young they will learn from it and get better...This was a great and fun game to watch...I saw a tweet that Ejim gave the bird to BYU student section he won't be playing next game..

They would be a lot better against the press with Ejim and Kane available.

Carlino did a disappearing act---again. He has to learn to play smarter. Jackin up 3s hopin to find your stroke down the stretch was stupid. Tankfully he penetrated the one time and created something more than a brick or turnover.

Aside from Tyler getting fouled On the screen at the end, he should have passed the ball. Everybody was standing around. Michael Jrdan knew when to give up the ball to Pippen or the Paxton or a few others. Ty has to give the ball up just then.

But the biggest culprits--free throws and letting ISU get about five offensive boards down the stretch.

Mika would have made a difference at then end. Austin was not a go to threat. Mika could have drawn a crowd and dished to haws or Carlino.

One more thing. This was just like GFGH. Our guys were tired. There were not enough rotations. What happened to Halford?

Iam pretty sure the NCAA gets the final say in that...I may be wrong..iam pretty sure they do.

Losing Mika was the game, because as improved as Austin is, he could not handle that big dude who made shot after shot. Mika CAN handle a guy like that.
