Wow, I don't know if Rose drew that up, but does anyone on BYU's team understand basic math??? a three still leaves you 1 point short Carlino.

Absolutely, this never should have got to overtime. Never should have been close with decent FT shooting.

Live by the Carlino, die by the Carlino. He's an exceptionally adequate player who will win you 3 games and lose you 7.

Carlino challenging 3 guys and missing the shot with a 2 point lead with seconds remaining was a dagger in the nuts

If BYU shoots 75% FT like any other D1 team, they win this by 4 in regulation

7 points with 2 min to go should be game over in college hoops. No excuses. Even if you just took the ball and dribbled it for 35 seconds and then handed the ball to other team, it's game over.

Okay. I'm at peace with the fact that we're not a top 25 team and so there's nothing to be ashamed of playing all these ranked teams so tight, but couldn't we at least get ONE! It just hurts. Hurts deep. Especially how we've had big leads in all of these games....I'm really sick of giving other teams "good wins".



Can't wait for conference play! Hopefully these games have been lessons learned. :crazy:

Carlino his a 3 with over 4 minutes left. That would be the last fg of regulation for the cougars which would have been fine, but they gave Oregon about 40 chances to get points during those last 4 minutes.

I feel about Carlino the same way I felt about a certain BYU QB. I wish he never transferred to BYU. Haws had the hot hand.
