Retarded!!!!!!!!!! Why call a time out?

Why isn't there a guy on #12 making him turn at least one time down the floor the last two USF possessions??? Unbelievable.

I'm always charged as being the naive optimist, but with MC and Hawes having such off shooting nights, to win is HUGE. Tonight, free throws won it for us. Who'd thought?

Very unusual win. An ugly game (and I was just following the gamecast on espn.com and the comments here). The season continues!

Nothing embarrassing about this win whatsoever. Hard fought on both sides with both teams playing like there was no tomorrow. Ugly at times? You bet! Beautiful in the end? Absolutely! No time to dwell on this one. Get some rest and beat the Zags! Go Cougars! :)

Well said. Although I still think early shots in te shot clock Down the stretch is poor coaching or poor discipline. His game did not need to be so close.

But HUGE win. Now go get The Zags!

Exercise some comment self-control when faced with adversity as a loyal fan and poster ;) In all seriousness, I tip my hat to Coach Rose, his staff, and the players for resurrecting this season after the 4 losses in late December and early January that put them at 8-7 overall and 0-2 in conference. To go 15-3 from that point to the WCC championship game is very impressive indeed. Go Cougars! :)

You can tell who the whiners are every time BYU has a close game. Bashing the team, coach, and individual players every step of the way.

USF and BYU tied in regular season. Dead even. Yes, we beat them head to head, but they do not lose to bad teams. Two evenly matched teams. Both red hot to end the season. Both playing their best ball. Did you really expect to blow them out. We won!



Just beat the WCC Coach of the year.

Just beat the 3 seed.

Kyle Collinsworth is in the tournament MVP hunt - and some of you are bashing him!

Haws was dogged all night - off on his shot - still got to the line and was perfect.

MC was hot and cold - hit some key shots.

Winder delivered again.

Some of you still do not get that Mika will not go a full game without fouling out. Neither will Austin. That is why you see less than ideal rotations.

Mika made some big shots.



Dog fight. Tournament type physical slugfest. BYU won. Away from Provo.



Put on your happy faces. BYU won its 2nd straight tournament game. How often does that happen?

Agreed, bib. I think the biggest story here with the USF game is that TH got totally mugged, while only getting to the FTL for about 30 percent of the muggings. I'm glad that he was 100 percent on his 12 FT tries, but the uncalled muggings did yet take a toll on him, getting him off his shot where he normally is sure. It was a good game plan by USF, and almost worked for them. Good thing for BYU that they have KC, MC, and AW to keep up the scoring while opponents focus on TH. BYU has too many weapons, too much balance for most teams to deal with. But give USF credit for coming too close for our comfort. I don't think that Gonzaga can give BYU any more challenge, and perhaps less, than the Dons did. BYU might just have the toughest game of the WCC tourney behind them.

I know you are kind of being TIC here but in all seriousness, I don't think it does. We still remain in the "last 4 in" in most people's prediction brackets which IMO means we are out. BYU needs to win the WCC to get in IMO. We just need tonight's win and we are in. If we lose, I predict NIT.
