Hey, why the change to Bartley? Did rose keep him bottled up on the bench to surprise the zags with him in the conference championship? He's played more minutes tonight than the last 20 games combined.

Nice shooting PANGoS!!

Hard NOT to like the zags. They aren't that gifted athletically, but play team basketball and it's a fun brand to watch. Glad they are our conference foes. Wish we could beat them on a more regular basis.

Perhaps. Backcourt ought to be better. Front court is a big question mark. We are in dire need of some post play and 3 point shooting.

Wow, 35% shooting vs zags 52%. BYU never should have been in this game. BYU did get 15 offensive rebounds to the zags 3. Those 3 though, IIRC, cost BYU 6 points because they were all converted.



BYU also had 14 turnovers to zags 10. Amazing that this game turned out as close as it did.

I would concur with this assessment concerning next year. I see the 3 point shooting being better. Not so sure about the post play. Defense has to improve.

I was really hoping that Carlino would show up at this tournament, but it looks like he just wasn't quite ever on. This was his chance to show he was the best guard in the league and should have made all WCC team.
