Teams have done this to him before and it hasn't stopped him. You try and stop that guy. he ALWAYS gets an extra three yards after contact or more. The guy is a beast that wears the d down. BYU would be very lucky if he came back.



as far as the nfl goes it doesn't have much to gain by staying unless his odds this year are low. if they are low he has nothing to lose.

the impact that a motivated Harvey has on next season is hard to overestimate.i think the games in question for me next year,ie vs. UW and Utah at Rice -Eccles,now are tipped in the Cougs favor,whereas to me without him they look very tough with either a rookie Heaps or a newbie RIley under center.Harvey is doing this in part because he loves the FB and college experience that BYU affords him,but you can bet he wants to go out with a bang and have a huge season next year,and you have to figure he looked at who's coming back and realized he can do just that if he stays.i also think that he wins us a game here or there that we should win,but get in trouble with next year without him,such as SDSU orCSU or AF.so maybe more like a 2-3 game swing in our favor with him staying.
