According to http://www.byucougars.com we have received LOI from all of our verbals already except for:

Jordan Afo

Graham Rowley

No surprises yet as far as a recruit that wasn't on the list getting Kona's scholarship. We haven't lost anyone yet.

Hopefully Graham Rowley is still asleep in Hawaii and not struggling to fax in his LOI now that it is time. He is a 4 star recruit with offers from Pac 10 schools.

We shouldn't be too worried about Jordan Afo signing since his only other offer was Utah State.

ESPN is still listing them as verbally committed. ESPN is behind what BYU has released, I know, but BYU can't comment on them at this point.

Rivals is way behind the curve. Is BYU being ignored there?

Rumblings are that Utah put the full court press on afo the past few weeks. That would be ridiculous for afo to ditch byu for utah after utah waited on teh sideline to see how he healed from his injury while byu stuck with him.

Nothing confirmed I've seen yet. If there are defections, I'd rather they be in our direction.

FWIW, Kona officially signed with Notre Dame.

No surprises. Everyone has signed expect for Jordan Afo and Graham Rowley(his on Hawaiian time so that night be a few more hours). Also the drama kid is leaning towards Notre Dame and Ricky's leaning towards Oregon.

GO COUGARS!!!

25 players have already signed. How many scholarships do we have to give?

Not enough! The mission factor has an effect. Anyone have details on how that might be a factor?

Not a huge surprise. At least now BYU coaches can comment, though I doubt they will have much to say about him, even if asked.

ESPN has him listed as signed. ESPN also notes a serious injury. Here is where Bronco's commitment to a player paid off.

On a somewhat sidenote, it looks like ucla is having a great day.

a few are heading straight on missions so will not apply until the future. usually have about 21-22 each year. 85 players total on athletic schollies. Of course, if some qualify for academic ones, that helps too.

AWESOME. When I saw that UCLA had 4 DT signed already, I figured it would be Utah or Oregon. Glad he is a Duck. But wish he was a Cougar.

I see that the Utes added a DB out of California. His name? Joseph Smith. Nice.

Anyone have a list or BYU's preferred walk-ons, and walk-ons for this year? Did we add that Snow Safety as a walk-on? Just curious which non-schollie guys we have. Seems a few always play for us.
