Now updated with new players, new jersey #s, new weights and heights, and supposedly departed missionaries.

It's interesting to note guys who've put on (hopefully muscle) weight. Frazier, Keoshian, and Stephenson are three guys that notably put on 20 lbs in the off-season.

Man, what a mess that all is to keep track of!

And I'm glad that you do!! Only thing better would to be able to download into Excel and sort by name, position, #...but you do a great job.

The other week I was out in the middle of nowhere in a state park and a friend and I were discussing the depth chart and we were able to access "your" depth chart on a cell phone to fill in the missing gaps. Thanks!

How many of our players are LDS:

QB – 4/4

RB – 5/7

FB – 6/6

WR – 8/9

Slot/”H” – 3/3

TE – 7/7

OL – 20/21

DL – 15/15

LB – 19/20

DB – 13/17

K/P – 2/2

That’s a total of 102/111, so that’s only 9 non-LDS players on the team, but some players were not identified as LDS or not (like DeQuan Everett) so I just assumed that they are. I thought that there were more non-LDS football players. Am I reading your depth chart correctly? Is this accurate?

You assumed wrong. DeQuan is not and many others are not either(Fabaluje, Aguirre, Keoshian, Gaines, Johnson, etc). probably closer to 20 non-LDS players, as there were 8 or 9 in the last class that are not LDS.

I'll pridefully say that 6 of these 15 guys, I'd reported over the past several months ago to CougarCorner already.

I'll also note that Brian Smith was a pretty dang good punter in high school, and beat out over a dozen other guys attempting to walk-on to the BYU Cougars football team at that same position... so he's gotta have some potential. No, I don't know him or his family. ;)

Can he make extra points?
