SchmoeI don't know any 18-year-olds that are worried enough about their girlish figures to drink Diet Coke.

Craig, your counting your chicks before they hatch. He is still considering Utah and BYU and far from commiting to BYU. Your facebook source is unrealible at best, sorry to burst your bubble but he is going to be a UTE.

I bugged by the continued misconception that caffeine is against the honor code and that kids can't drink coke if they want. If anyone took the time to do their homework, they'd know that it's a ridiculous assertion.

Who? Any recruit that likes the comforts of women, diet coke, and a good party (99% of young men in other words!). BYU's honor code will turn off a lot of non-highly religious prospects.

It's just a problem of assumption. People see that we don't drink coffee and tea and think that we can't drink anything caffeinated. Some members choose not to drink caffeine and when it comes up they simply say "I don't drink caffeine," and so on. It's just irritating.

Not that caffeine is good for you, I just hate the constant misconceptions of which this is one.

When a person at work asked me if Mormons can't drink caffeine, I whip out some chocolate and start eating it and then remind the person that chocolate has caffeine in it.

Reign, you really think that statement is helpful? I actually have mildly enjoyed some of your posts, it would be a shame to lose you because you couldnt keep yourself in check. Isnt going to matter soon. Your angst over BYU's rising potential to "knock-off" your Huskies is going to reveal your short term desire to troll here, increase your unwanted smack, and send you off incredulously and dissappointedly to whomever your second game trolling happens to be--either because you get the MOD squad to cut you off (no pun intended) or you lose the game and leave for good.
Go ahead and follow BYU31, he's leading the way. Youre next, i'm afraid. Get control of yourselves.

For real? I think my posts have been really tame and don't even remotely approach "trolling". What about all the Udub smack you guys post here yourself, or is it a one way street here?
