So Chris Polk didnt' get 100 yards, but he just got 100 posts on this forum. Congrats to Polk and Husky nation. ;)

Polk had a great game and I congratulated afterwards. I believe he had some receiving yards as well. BYU contained him enough to win and contained Locker enough to make him look ordinary on this day. The safety gave us a 2 point gift and a shift in momentum. Washington was hurt by mistakes and penalties more than BYU. I am glad this game was in the friendly confines. UW will go bowlin this year- call mr on it if they do not.

True, but mistakes and execution are part of the game and part of what makes a team good or bad. It was AMAZING to me that BYU - being as young as they are - could come out the FIRST game of the season and, for the most part, not make any dumb mistakes or even turn the ball over. I was very impressed with that.

Word. BYU, at least under Mendenhall, seems to have a competitive advantage in two areas: disciplined preparation and executing according to the preparation.
