Yeah, but look at the crappy PAC competition he was playing! Washington State?

I should point out that I also passed for over 65% vs Wash St.

Big whoop, I successfully pass gas 72.476% of the time.

I'm glad to see that Sark accounts for 10%. He's a great coach and will bring UW back into the PAC discussion--of course that discussion consists of the talented jailducks, a good oregon state program, how crappy and overated UCLA is, oh and the cheaters from USC, who continue to cheat by hiring the biggest cheating cheater in college football. Worthy topics to be sure. NOT.

But Locker has only gotten that pub bc the press is so in love with the fallen USC empire of the last decade and they desperately need someone to pull it out of the crap-heap its in and so they annointed Sark and want to give him the credit for pumping out a few Heisman QB's--and that of course puts Locker in the forefront. Hey PAC-o-crap, way to hang your hopes on a MEDIOCRE QB, with a MEDIOCRE arm! WIN SOME GAMES and then take some credit.

But hey, there's also the splendid Not-so-Buffs and the SpYewties to add to your great collection of teams. Checked out their academic performance standings lately? MEDIOCRE also.

Ya, I got up on the wrong side of the bed--but that doesnt change that Jake isnt exactly The Great.

I guess we'll see.

Reign, at least youve given us something fun to talk about. Thanks. Independence talk is getting very old and almost foolish to even us bluebloods.

And, while I'm at it--ruffling purple dog hair and reigning on the Locker parade--I must also suggest that the tightest spiral I saw from Locker's arm two years ago was--you guessed it, the one he threw underhanded at the end of the game. :-)

Just think Reign, if Locker's now 10% more accurate, maybe even the man upstairs could possibly catch his pass now. Just havin a little fun PR--good luck to your guys down here.

LOL, okay that was funny.

But hey, Locker does not need to throw it, he will just do this:

Obviously Arizona is undisciplined and no match compared to what UW will face against BYU. If we tackle as get out of position as badly as that D then we will be in for a long day and an even longer season. Luckily for us, Bronco will have the defense ready to play and they will play well. I doubt locker breaks free very often next week (I'm excited it is getting so close now) and even less likely he is able to scramble for more than 10-15 yds on his best runs.

Locker's passes cure cancer.

Lockers passes are so fast, they regularly exceed the speed of light, and tight, the physics community has decided to close down the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

Because his passes, they have discovered the fourth and fifth temporal dimensions and an intellectual black hole (IBH) which sucks all intelligence out all living creatures. This IBH is located in the UW campus and has sucked out all intelligence for a fifteen mile radius. For every 300 IQ points it devours, it doubles its size. It is now 1.00002 times bigger than when it was created in the UW campus.

Too bad he's never completed any.

Notsomuch; Locker was pedestrian tonight. Polk did not scare us. I hoped you enjoyed the show from the real Quarterback U tonight.

Too bad Sark chickened out on the next BYU-UW series; maybe one of these days you guys will win enough games to meet us in a bowl. ;)

Good luck to Washington, USC looked terrible yesterday, Polk should run for 800 yards against them.

I couldn't help but notice that Locker's 2800 yards passing last year was like the 2nd or 3rd most in UW history. That'd be good for 23rd best at BYU!

Locker is still super innacurate, but now Sark has handicapped his running... long season ahead for the Dawgs.

Polk did get 92 yards, honestly I think Sark was dumb for not giving him the rock more often.

Polk had a good night with 5.8 yards per carry, but the problem was they didn't go to him enough, because Locker is the "Heisman Candidate". Polk only had 16 carries and 1/4 of those came on the final drive as they were predictably trying to milk the clock. The only reason for Locker to have 11 carries when he obviously wasn't getting the job done is because you spent all summer pimping him to the media.

That can be a problem with having a "star" (especially a manufactured one). BYU shouldn't have that problem this year. They have a great ensemble cast.

Polk was a beast and he NEARLY made you an honest prediction

a few more touches...

He required at least 2- 3 people to bring down except when the o-line had no holes for him.

I thought Washington played fantastic tonight, and gave BYU quite a game. For a "D" that was supposed to be weak but improved, you held us to 23 points including MULTIPLE 3 and outs and no points in the fourth quarter.

I didn't think Locker's run should have been a TD, but even if it wasn't right then, I still think WA scores on that drive. I also think BYU dropped an uncharacteristic number of wide open passes. Good thing we caught just enough.

I hope Locker runs wild on the Plaque -10 and that you guys crush everyone in your sight.

True to BYU form they throw away every chance to put away an inferior team. This should have been at least a 2 TD win. What's with all the drops? I counted 6 and 3 of those were on 3rd downs that would've been conversions. Something has to be done. Nice try UW, but like I said you have no chance at LES opening day.

And we handed you quite a few gifts, especially on special teams. Not sure how your comments hold water.

Not apples to apples though. Special teams mistakes impacted your field position not your ability to score. Whereas BYU's mistakes kept us from maintaining drives that would've ended in points...most notably the 2 drops on Heaps' drive early in the fourth. If we get just 3 points there game over. Point is your "gifts" didn't give us scoring opportunities whereas our playing down to UW and making dumb errors did in fact cost us a bigger cushion late in the game.
