I agree we need to run more and better. We've had a couple of nice running plays, but not enough.

3 and out for UW, then Chambers takes a punt return to the house.

Might be tough to come back this tab for chat in the second half. The notebook with the wi-fi isn't the quickest. . .and won't want to miss anything. Hope we are chatting about a big win in about 90 minutes!

FWIW, QB Ratings are as follows:

Nelson--145.5

Heaps--94.8

Locker --125.2

Aside from Locker (and their punter) the defense is getting gashed in the running game.

And the QBs are off on the timing routes. If they were just in sync this would be a different game.

By the way. Locker's run was not a TD. Freakin review refs are blind.

Yes it was.

Even if it wasn't do you really think our D would have held them when all they needed was a few more inches?

BYU was 2 for 9 on 3rd downs. I miss Max Hall.

BYU 49-6 since 2000 w/ a rating over 145.

BYU is 61-17 when opponent under 126.

Exactly right. I think using two QB's is one of the reasons for that.

How was it not a score? My understanding is that you have to get the ball across the plane and the ball or part of your body across the goal line within the field of play. The ball crossed the plane out of bounds and he hooked his leg inside the pylon.

And BYU is 34-2 with both.

I agree but it was on the 1 or closer anyway. Wouldn't it have been 2nd or 3rd down from there anyway? I blame the network not having sufficient cameras in place.

Go Cougs!!!

How about we start holding them on 3rd and long!

The penalty saved us on that one.

If that had been our THIRD personal foul call... well, hm... let me think about it... yeah, I would've killed myself

It is ball, not body, the ball must brake the line.

The ball must break the plane. The plane extends indefinitely .
