Halftime Analysis:



1. Boise is running the ball too much--hey guys it ain't working. Either run the triple option or throw it, but mostly just throw it.



2. Boise should have a shut out right now if not for those 2 3rd and long blunders. Pathetic deep D on those plays.



3. Funny in the 1st half when BSU was dominating the announcers started with the excuses..."They only have 4 starters returning, blah blah blah."



Plus did anyone else notice that at halftime the 2 tools (Holtz and May) did not say one positive thing about BSU on their own? All they babbled about was VTech's mistakes. The BCS just has to go and they can take those 2 losers with it.

amazing how as soon as VT stops making dumb mistakes (fumbled snap, blocked punt, running into the kicker, etc.) they take control of the game. Boise State has capitalized off of Va Tech mistakes, but other than that, they've played a pretty mediocre game when nothing has been handed to them.

True, same goes for Boise in that ugly 2nd quarter and to start the 3rd. Give VTech the ball on your side of the field and they will score, but they haven't proved effective at marching the whole field. If Boise starts to win the field position battle again they'll take this game.

The DBs for Boise are getting wasted, the D line looks good.

boise is getting embarrassed on D tonight on big plays, wow. Dback can't cover the 3rd down and 4th down situations. Every other down they're excellent!

LOL...stop running the ball to get to 3rd and long. The play calling for this team has been atrocious! It works 2 downs in a row so then you go to play action which they have only run 2-3 times all night. Wow Boise is choking this one away.

Boise returned a lot of guys but they did lose their all american corner to the draft. Teams like Boise just dont' replace quality players like that. Course if it was Utah, they would have found an extra year of eligibility for him and 3-4 more years of eligibility for Ryan Clady (or do you have to be a running back to play til you're 40 there?)



If Boise loses this game, they can kiss their season bye-bye, because they're playing for whatever toilet bowl agreement the WAC has waiting for them.



Just another reason why BYU went Indy; it's just too much trouble to worry about other teams to help get the MWC AQ status.

So how far does Boise State drop if they lose this game? I would guess they'd drop to #11-ish. We'll see.

Boise isn't very well disciplined in this game.

Is is just me or does Nike have a fascination with bibs? Fine it isn't a completely different color, but the light gray/dark gray bronco uniforms look like the nasty bib uniforms we had, just lighter colors.

Yep, Kellen Moore is a stud, but Boise did not play well tonight. Fortunately for them, their 2nd team can beat most of the rest of their schedule.



I'm just glad the game's over so i don't have to list to Brent Musberger anymore tonight.
