We can't find someone that will get us more than 28 yards receiving a game as the #2 receiver?

We have found someone better, his name is Cody Hoffman. Now we need to use him more.

If we have as few complete passes or even as few pass ATTEMPTS as we saw yesterday, than no... no, we can't.

I give Chambers as hard a time as anyone for when he makes stupid mistakes, but the Chambers bashing going around on this thread has been unreal.

I stand by my point. He needs to take the majority of the snaps now. He currently is the only wr that can catch consistently. If that means eating into chambers snaps, then fine. Chambers can't get seperation on the outside and should only be in if he is runblocking. I've seen nothing against a quality opponent to show me any different.

It was early in the 4th quarter on 3rd down. Nelson was QB obviously. Chambers ran a route that was just a floater across the middle from left to right and he was WIDE open. Not a defender within 10 yards in any direction. Nelson looked in Chambers direction because there were 2 routes that direction. Chambers started waving his arms and jumping up and down right in the middle of the field about 15 yards away. Instead Nelson threw to a TE on the right hash mark in double coverage. Incomplete.

If Heaps had played the entire game, there is a very good chance BYU would've won. End of discussion.

HAHAHA!!! Let's have another, no wait a minute before you tell it, my side hurts! Riley got us our first two scores, Heaps did not. Receivers weren't catching balls from either QB, Heaps had as many TOs as Riley and no scores, our defense couldn't stop AFA regardless of who was playing QB. You're full of crap and you know it.

Chambers mother will no doubt give her son constructive feedback. I have long been frustrated with Chambers, probably because of the hype and big expectations. I do want him to succeed. Maybe we need to help him redefine success.

Success

Go down on the 4 vs FSU last year and hold onto the ball and trust your team to follow up with the score.

Pile on and recover JJ's fumble and trust your team to get it in the endzone.

Catch all balls thrown to you and secure them before worrying about YAC and scoring.

And when you do get near the endzone hang onto that ball until you cross the plane of the goal line.

Help BYU move the chains and sustain drives. You will be my hero.

Bib

Mom can pass that along. Hopefully Chambers will have two great seasons to close out his BYU career. It is time.
