Chambers Suspended!

I must have missed the flipping off incident, when did that happen? Any more info on why the suspension, is it academic (if it was, why not say academic?) if it wasn't that it must be either honor code or an attitude issue. Not trying to dive into it too much but it would be nice to know whether or not this will be a big issue or just a minor blip.

Jan, I remember YOU provided quite a few distractions (and still are!!!). Sounds like a pot and kettle fight.

Not an HC issue, per BYU. So must be a football related issue.



All the same, I support bronco and hope OC gets ready to play SDSU.

Word around provo is its grades ( sub 2.0 GPA )

That could mean eligibility issues if not sorted out. I think this is preemptive--if true--so as not to have another Tonga scenario. And if it is true, I think this is a good way to handle this.

Yep supposedly if he doesnt get it together soon he will have eligibility issues and his days in a BYU uniform ( this season at least ) will be numbered ....

According to a player who I won't name there is more to it than grades and the multiple flippings, a fight with a coach after being chastised for not trying to catch an under thrown ball was the icing on the cake. Apparently an attitude adjustment is in order.

I'm not one of those "Chambers sucks and should be benched" people - but for the most part I just don't understand how a kid who under-performs more often than he over-performs can be so stubborn and arrogant on the field (I say "on the field," because it seems that off the field he is the exact opposite). It's a shame to see so much potential go to waste.

ME ME ME, and forget the team. Shame.

I still don't know why these guys are talking out loud on facebook. I'd have VanNoy and Chambers riding pine for a while for saying crap like that in a public forum if I was Bronco. Besides trying to decide how to help a team that obviously is less than stellar, now he has to deal with people who think they are bigger than the team.
