COUGAR Corner are a bunch of Nazi Fascists

Our friend Chaksk / BYU31 has been removed from our presence here. I feel like that will give him a good chance to frequent a forum where he is more comfortable.



As a comment in regards to CougarBlue, the site was once a truly great place for Cougar fans. It began to suffer and the best posters from there came here. I was one of the biggest users of CougarBlue and often emailed or private messaged the admins with my ideas on how to make it a better place, but our visions of a community were different so I began this site instead and haven't looked back. I wish them all the best, but my entire focus is now on CougarCorner.

I absolutely love how cougarcorner just straight up bans certain people. it makes the discussion a completely different atmosphere compared to other places like cougarblue.

Hey, I've been over at Cougarblue all day waiting for everyone to switch over. What gives?

You know one thing I love about Cougar Corner is when trolls show up. They post something idiotic then I just sit back and watch them get completely OWNED by everyone on this board. I am glad they get banned eventually but until that happens it is a great read.

Let me just say that if cougar blue ever returned to what it was 3 or 4 years ago I would lead the exodus back. I would much rather not moderate, and I'm sure Hawkwing could deal without the headache of hosting this site. That said, the Daily Herald shows no indication of caring about the quality of dialogue going on there. It's basically become the Nicolas Cage of BYU forums--once great, but now a pathetic shell of what it used to be....all because of money troubles. So, until then I am proud to be a part of a site that you all have made great.

The Daily Herald is struggling. Right now they are having a hard time getting advertisers to commit. Print advertising and Web advertising for Newspapers has been dropping drastically. My small business used to advertise regularly with newspapers...now...we won't touch them with a 10 foot pole because we know the eyes are not there to justify the cost of advertising with them. I know that right now the DH is pushing to get people on the forums because they have to go to advertisers and say, "look we have "x" amount of unique visitors to the site. Advertise with us because we get this many people looking at us".
