Being gone for the weekend (muddy sloshy campout at Zion's NP), this is the first I heard of Hawk's procedure. I hope all goes well, buddy. Hold your wife's hand and talk her through it - it's harder on her than it is on you.

I think you got that backwards. Childbirth is harder on husbands than on wives. I agree with the guy who sings "I THought I WAS Tough." We are a bunch of wimps. That's why Heavanly Father created Eve; to take care of Adam.



Sorry about your health issues, Hawk. Hope you get through it fast and easily. My one month old granddaughter is in the hospital for the second time. I'll stop by to see you while I'm up at Primay Children's. That is where you are, isn't it ;)

Get well fast Hawk....Tell them to get that thing out as soon as possible, that gallstone probably has a U stamped on it!!! :)

Hawk, to help you pass the time and forget about the pain you are in, watch the movie "Blazing Saddles."

Hawkwing, get well soon man! It's hard to envision the situation you're in, but I know it is far from pleasant. Take care, and when the going gets tough, just think of the Cougs! :)

We are home now and Hawkwing is doing good. He's been sleeping since we got here, which is good because he didn't get much sleep in the hospital. He should be back on cougarcorner full time shortly. Thanks guys!
